TS6 - Low or no flow from spout and/or wand
There are rare occasions when the waterway can become obstructed and restrict the water flow. Some examples:
- Water supply lines were not properly flushed when installing the faucet
- Work has been done in your home that disturbed the plumbing
- Your municipality made water line repairs
- Your fire department flushed hydrants
- Construction in your area
- Your well was stirred up after a hard rain or other disturbance
The most likely location for the obstruction is the waterway between the cartridges. Disassemble the components as shown. Detailed instructions to disassemble and reassemble are available here: Diverter Cartridge Mixer Cartridge.
- The water supply valves MUST be closed.
- Clear the waterway shown the diagram as "Waterway between the Cartridges" by passing a fairly stiff but pliable wire through the hole from one side to the other.
- Dislodge all the debris from the waterway and cartridge sockets.
- Make certain the cartridges haven't accumulated buildup, sediment and particles. See instructions here: Diverter Cartridge Mixer Cartridge.
- Reassemble the components.
- Open the water supply valves.
