Worked like a charm

Had a pretty significant leak due to our extremely hard water and this simple fix stopped it immediately. We Love Dishmaster. We have had one in our house since 1954, the original installation and a few years ago we upgraded to the Imperial four in Black. I love it! Is so mid century modern and beatuiful.

Spraying when I expected it off👎

I replaced the 2 tiny black rubber custom orings and it stopped sticking open when off.🤞

Diverter seals

The set of seals was easy to replace and solved the issue of very stiff spout movement. I am happy with it
I do have one additional issue that has come up since, I suspect I did something wrong during my repair. The diverter does not always disengage when I turn off the water now and occasionally it does not easily engage when I pull it up and may take 3 or 4 tries. I think I must have gotten grease somewhere it is not supposed to be or I missed something. But that is not the fault of the repair kit.

Hi Steven, glad it got your spout moving again. A couple of things to check on the diverter function...
1) take the aerator off the end of the spout and make sure it's clean inside. Clean out any accumulated grit that you see & you can soak it in white vinegar overnight to take care of any buildup. A clogged aerator can sometimes cause this issue.
2) go back into the diverter assembly and polish the rod with very fine (0000 grade) steel wool before you lubricate with silicone plumbers grease and reassemble. A buildup of minerals/lime on the rod often interferes with the function.
