Installation:

  • Apply silicone sealant or plumber’s putty to the bottom surface of the hole cover around the outer rim.
  • Press the cover down onto the sink or countertop.
  • Tighten the wing nut to hold it in place after it has been seated.
  • The cover will NOT be water tight unless sealant or putty is properly applied.

Chrome Sink Hole Cover

Unfortunately these chrome hole covers do not even come close to meeting the quality of the Dishmaster faucet. Very disappointing. I ordered 2 and with very little torque the stud pulled out of the bottom of the cover. These look like they were just acquired from Home Depot. Also unfortunate a white hole cover wasn’t available. I ended up going to Lowes and purchased 2 white hole covers that actually worked and look a lot better.

The hole cover should be pressed down to seat it on the sink/countertop. It should not be torqued down with the wing nut.
