FAQ - M76 Imperial Four vs. M76XL Imperial Four XL

M76 Imperial Four vs. M76XL Imperial Four XL

"XL" does not mean "Extra large". Sometime back in the late 1970s, someone decided to add an "XL" suffix to "M76" when the M76 was modified so that the wand could sit next the the faucet when not in use and the hose was out of site rather than the wand laid on top the faucet and the hose visible.  That "M76XL" decision has led to confusion to this day. M76 and M76XL are exactly the same size.

The M76 Imperial Four requires 2-holes on 8" centers. It will fit most standard sinks that have 2, 3 or 4-holes. The M76 will also mount on the wall or on a ledge back sink.
