Confusing kit instructions

The written instructions have too many options to be clear. I got a full stem assembly, but why? Was my model out dated? I could have gotten just the washer assembly? If I got the full stem I should only get those instructions. You should reference the YouTube video. It was simple and clear

It is not entirely clear to us what you are saying. We do not have a record of your faucet purchase so cannot advise how old your faucet is, but, it would have to be very old to be outdated. The model should be indicated on the front cover and there is a manfacturing date on the faucet body. Yes, you can order individual components rather than the entire stem assembly.
