Not to be confused with the Diverter Cartridge. This cartridge turns the water on and off and adjusts the temperature.

Replace if water is dripping from the mixer knob.

Replace if water is dripping from the end of the spout. NOTE: not to be confused with water draining from the spout after the valve is closed.

Mixer Cartridge

After many years of operating properly the mixer cartridge started to leak and was replaced with a new cartridge that for the last two weeks is working as designed.

Works like new

Changed both the diverter and mixing cartridges. We live in Mexico and our cistern water pump got dirt in it so it contaminated the Dishmaster. Easy change out procedure and now it’s perfect.
