TS27 - Diverter knob will not stay up
The aerator may have a buildup of lime, or other mineral deposits. There may be an accumulation of sediment, particles that come through the water lines and/or lime (or other minerals) buildup. Follow this procedure to remove the deposits"
- Block the drain(s) to prevent parts from going down the drain.
- Unscrew the aerator assembly from the end of the spout. Make certain to remove the seal along with the other parts.
- Turn the aerator upside down and tap it on the countertop to remove accumulated particles. then rinse the aerator.
- To remove accumulation of lime and/or other minerals, soak the aerator in a 50:50 solution of distilled vinegar and water for 24 hours then rinse the aerator.
- Screw the aerator onto the spout being sure to include the seal.
